Zone was established in 1996 by engineer Moustafa Nasser. Their scope was to provide survey equipment & perform survey services.
In 1997 the company got Trimble agency & became the sole agent & distributor for Trimble company ( http://www.trimble.com ). Then on 2003 Zone Technologies was established to separate between survey activities & equipment provision & sales. By that; Zone Technologies was specialized in provision & sales & Zone Engineering & Survey specialized in survey activities. On 1999 the company expanded their activities in providing marine survey equipment, where they provided subbottom profilers for one of the companies working in the OFS field. On 2000 the company widened their activities in getting agencies of the most reputable companies in provision of marine survey & ROV equipment.
On 2003 the company got the agency of Seaeye company ( http://www.seaeye.com ).
Later on they got the agency of Tritech International Limited ( http://www.tritech.co.uk ).
Currently the company is establishing branch in the Free Zone to be responsible for the activities of the agencies it has got in the subsea field.
